We became grandparents yesterday of a beautiful 8 lb. 12 oz. girl, Lucy Ruth. Our first granddaughter (we have three grandsons) measured 21 inches long and is a big gal! When I called I got to hear her crying and it made me laugh and cry all at the same time. Audrey is tired as she's not slept for the last several weeks, but is doing well. Besides having lots of black hair and long, slender fingers, Lucy has begun to nurse well. When Audrey told me how big Lucy's feet are, I asked Keith if he got a hockey player. Audrey quickly answered, "No!"We thank God for the safe arrival of Lucy Ruth~rejoice with us! Our prayer is that in time she would come to love the Lord Jesus, that God would make her one of His little lambs.

We are so happy for you--and for Audrey and Keith. Congratulations! We're anxious to see some pictures. We know it's hard being so far from your children, but maybe God was preparing you for this with grandsons (and soon a granddaughter) coming to Micah and Marie down in Florida while you were here in Illinois. We think of you and miss seeing you.
