Tracy and I recently picked up Bibles that Tyndale Publishers had shipped to Zambia in a container. Tyndale provided the Life Application Study Bibles for just the cost of shipping, $9 per copy.Pictured here is Tracy with John and Tracy Deseck, missionaries with SIM (Serving In Missions). The Desecks have facilitated the distribution of over 5,200 copies. Pastors traveled many kilometers, some from the bush, just to obtain a Bible. Upon receiving their copy, some pastors cried tears of joy.
Action Zambia Ministries received enough donations to purchase almost 270 copies. Each pastor in the Action Pastors College received a copy at the close of their first year of studies. Many thanks to those of you who donated funds for these Bibles. Pray for wisdom as we distribute these to needy pastors and leaders of churches. May the Lord bless you and increase your joy in Him!

I am sobered at the thought of these men crying upon receiving their own copy of the Bible. How many copies do I have scattered carelessly around my home? I truly take for granted what a blessing it is to be able to read God's Word for myself!
