The rainy season has arrived and with it so have snails. Each morning we check the house for any new arrivals as they love to scale the walls. If they didn't leave such a mess behind we wouldn't bother. But, since they rarely "thrp, thrp" up our outside walls without leaving snail doo, we fling them as far as we can. We've also put out Snailban (poison) and layered the ground around the house with egg shells, a deterrent. Just don't inform PETA!
This morning, however, one got a little too close to the house for its own good. Unknowingly, we closed the door on this unwelcome guest. Maybe next time they'll knock!
