A Guinness World Record?

It's not every day that you meet someone with 173 pins displayed on his jacket. Yesterday when we picked up our friends from their hotel I met Steven, one of the doormen at the Taj Pamodzi. I could not believe my eyes.

Dotted all over his uniform was a collection of pins that has taken him over two years to acquire. I politely asked if I could look at his pins, and I noticed there were pins from different countries around the globe~England, Brazil, and the US are the only ones my feeble mind can remember. Several airline pins, like Delta, decorated his jacket as well.

A year ago someone gave Steven a 2012 Olympics pin, in anticipation of this year's games. When I asked him which one was his favorite, he pointed to the Brazilian flag. Luiz da Silva, Brazil's thirty-fifth president, gave it to him several years ago. More familiar to me was the pin from the US~Jurassic Park framed by the golden arches of McDonald's.

I promised Steven a pin the next time I see him, and my mind is already churning with ideas. Any suggestions? Perhaps by that time he will have started filling up the back of his uniform~I wonder how many he'll have by then?
