The Sock Tree

Every day I walk past this small tree and at least once a week I find it decorated with colorful socks and other tiny pieces of clothes. It's wash day and there's no pegs (clothespins) or room on the lines for these. 

Zambians don't have to have clotheslines to dry their apparel--sometimes they'll even use bushes to lay out clothes. Don't cha love the creativity of Zambians? I sure do!
