The Ants Go Marching

While Lex Luthor hatched his evil plot upon Metropolis (aka New York City), hundreds of ants stormed into our house the other night. Maybe it was the cold. Or lack of water. Perhaps our house just got in their way.

About an hour into the movie Superman with Christopher Reeve, I noticed a bug crawling up the quilt that kept me warm. Thinking it was a spider Tracy switched on the lights. To our
shock and surprise we were sur-
rounded!

Quickly grabbing Doom (insect future), we began spraying and soon created a nuclear cloud that did the ants in, and wasn't too helpful for us. Their crisis was over. So was ours with the exception of cleanup.

Our neighbors came over with newspaper as they take care of ants by burning them when they're outside. While Tracy lit the fishwrap at the front of the house, I began sweeping up
the carcasses and mopping to remove the spray residue.

Needless to say, we didn't watch another second of the movie. However, I am quite certain Superman foiled Lex Luthor. And we thwarted our enemies. Crises over.
