Grandson Update

Several have asked about Jude so I thought it good to give an update. Last Friday the doctor removed the stitches on his face, giving his mother a special cream to minimize the scarring. Yesterday he was to have the stitches on his ankle removed and a waterproof cast is being applied today. He may need physical therapy due to the severed tendon but at this point we don't know.

Jude's activity level has increased as has his appetite. He may even return to school tomorrow for a half day.

A big thank you for all the prayers for Jude. Friends and family have rallied around them, providing meals, babysitting, and support. And, yes, the boys have enjoyed the goodies they've received!

The big concern now is for Jude's emotional well-being. He still has little movement on the left side of his face due to the severed nerve. So, his smiles are half smiles. Please pray that God would knit this nerve back together and restore Jude's face~that his ankle would heal fully~that he will know God's comfort and peace as he returns to school.
