Cause For Celebration

Zambians love to celebrate when they reach milestones. Graduations especially present opportunities for joyous gatherings. 

Saturday marked two graduations of 21 Veritas students, pupils of four of our Action Pastors College students. Veritas, approximately 60-70 hours of instruction, teaches leaders how to interpret and properly apply the Bible.

Fredrick Bwalya, pictured here, is the National Coordinator of the Veritas College of Zambia. Bwalya preached a message from II Timothy 2:1-2, admonishing the ten graduates to be faithful.

Valley View Baptist Veritas Graduates

In the afternoon Tracy spoke at Pastor Jere's church, Valley View Baptist Church, on running the race in the Christian life. Festive crepe paper and graduation gowns signified how special this day was in the lives of the eleven students. 

After the graduates received their certificates, they each received a Life Application Study Bible. Afterwards a special reception was held in their honor. Rejoice with these students in their accomplishments, and please pray for these brothers and sisters in Christ as they run the race of faithfulness in their churches.
