We've Shifted!
A week ago, with the help of friends and teammates, we moved the last of our belongings from our Makeni home, where we've lived for almost the last four years. God gave us clear skies and a smooth transition. Well, almost.
The day before, Tracy and I had brought our three cats to the Twin Palm house and shut them up in the laundry room. The pet psychology gurus suggest doing that so the felines can get acclimated to their new surroundings. When we arrived the next morning our furry friends were no where to be seen. They had pushed out a broken window pane and escaped. While our house filled up with furniture and stuff, I was sick and distracted. After all our work to ensure their sticking around. Why, Lord? At the first available moment I took some food out to the fence line and called them. Molly and Thom were the first to appear; Oreo showed his face a little later. None of them worse for the wear. Thankfully, all three seem to now call our new house "home."
This place is beginning to look like home to us as well. We've been working diligently all week cleaning, emptying totes, arranging furniture, and organizing. Plot No. 1343/M is truly a gift from God and we are so thankful! We love our new place~please pray with us that the Lord would use our new home for His glory.

Looks so nice, bright and roomy! So glad your three cats are safely home. We have cats that hang around here that belong to neighbors....thinkingnwe should get our own little feline. It is hard to believe you have been there four years. I will pray that your new home will be used well to the glory of God and your joy. Love, Cherie
It looks so beautiful. I am so happy for you both!
Oh, it is positively delightful!!! I am SO glad about your cats. I thought we had lost one during our last move, and I crazy and sick over it. Turns out she was juts REALLY good at hiding in an empty house. What a relief!
