Tea Time

What is more comforting than a cup of tea and cake? On Wednesday, April 18, I have invited the wives of the Veritas students to tea in order to get to know them better. On that same day their husbands will have graduated from this prerequisite class for APC. While the men are enjoying their refreshments afterwards, we ladies, in the fashion of Mma. Ramotswe (No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency) will be sipping on tea and eating something fattening. 

In addition to getting to know them better I will be chatting with them about a basic reading class I hope to offer them. Something I wish that I had done with the last group of pastors' wives was to come alongside them to help improve their English reading skills. Zambians always want to improve their English and it will be a great way to bond with the future wives of APC. 

Please pray for our time of fellowship, that the Lord would knit our hearts together. In May and July there will be several conferences for them, so this is just a "warm-up" opportunity. Also please pray for me as I offer this once-a-week reading class. And, if you're in the area later this month, stop by for tea!
