Our house helper Susan is very creative. I asked her to clean the outside of the refrigerator, a daunting task for anyone because there are over 200 Shakesperean words on its surface.
It was an hour or so before I noticed the heart shape she had made with the words, and about three more hours before I discovered the "secret" message.
On the left of the heart is the word "I"~on the right is the word "my", and underneath is the word "friend". "I love my friend."
Who does she mean? Could it be me? If so, that warms my heart. But it presents a slight difficulty as she is also an employee. While I am very friendly with Susan, I need to not blur the line between employee and employer. Who I think it means is her fiance Francis~Susan is in love and plans to marry next year. Regardless of who it is, I thought it was a pretty sweet message. And, she joined in the literary game as well!
