Perhaps you've seen us on Facebook telling of tales in Florida, Pennsylvania, California, and Wisconsin. We have really been traveling!Adam and Tiffany met while they were both employed by Starbucks at the same store in Pennsylvania. The best man Dan tells it like this~"My wife saw Tiffany behind the counter at Starbucks [and] told Adam, 'She's cute. You should date her.' Adam said, 'I'm working on that.' I don't know exactly where the Author is going with this story, but I love the characters He's created."
Adam and Tiffany (or better known as Adifanny) chose a destination wedding in San Diego, where her parents reside. San Diego is beautiful and so was the wedding.
Tracy and I flew to CA with these two lovebirds on the same flight and enjoyed extra time together the Monday before the wedding. Southwest Airlines noticed Tiffany lugging a bridal gown on the plane and before landing made a congratulatory announcement on board about their marriage. However, they assumed Las Vegas was their destination and were getting married there!
There were many highlights of the week leading up to the 11th~beautiful sunsets at the beach, the wedding coordinator debacle, breakfast with Tiffany's parents at the beach (not AT Tiffany's), paragliding for some (we didn't do it!), meeting and preparing wedding decorations with the Batteys' extended family (we really like them!), sweet time with our son Neal, a shower for Tiffany at a tea shop where we dressed in hats and drank unusual teas with our pinkies in the air, and about 15 ladies getting manis and pedis the day before. It was a wonderful week~stressful, but wonderful. It concluded with a reception after the wedding that was held at Tiffany's aunt's house~great fun!
And at the end of the day, the most important thing is that they were married. As the Impressive Clergyman said, "Man and wife! Man and wife!"
