A Word By Any Other Name

Part of the cultural adjustment here is learning different words for the same objects back in the States. Several years ago I posted a list of these linguistic jewels and I thought it might be time for a refresher course.

What is/are . . .

a cooker?
a recovery truck?
a trolley?
                                            a dustbin?
                                            a vacuum tanker?
                                            a puncture?
                                            a flyover?
                                            a queue?
                                            a mixer?
                                            wires?
                                            a torch?
                                            serviettes?
                                            a car park?
                                            plasters?
                                            a hosepipe?
                                            a tipper truck?
                                            pants?
                                            lay by?
 Answers~

of these words come from England.
                12-15 right~you'd fit right in!
