Truly the most difficult aspect of determining our call to Africa has been that of leaving our children and grandchildren. We wanted to make sure that we were doing right by our kids. Our hearts ached each time we thought about the impending separation and tears (for me, Karen) were not far behind.Imagine our joy when Adam told us that he wanted to come to Zambia with us! After much discussion the three of us agreed this would be a life-changing experience for him. He intends to leave school at the end of this year and return in the fall of 2008. As my friend Liese would say, "Woo hoo!"
