Grampa T Comes To Town

This past week Tracy flew to Florida to visit our son, Micah, our daughter-in-law, Marie, and our three grandsons, Jude, Atticus, and Soren. Immediately upon arriving the boys pleaded with Grampa for airplane rides. I wonder who got that started! Grampa got so dizzy he had to sit down for a little bit.

Tracy thoroughly enjoyed his time there, especially observing the differences between Jude and Atticus. Jude is brave about many things and has conquered difficult puzzles, bulldozers, Auto Trader magazines, ocean waves, and firetrucks. However, heights pose a challenge for our four-year-old. Climbing
anything taller than himself worries Jude. But before Grampa left and while Marie was near Jude scaled the tree in their front yard. Way to go,
Jude!

Atticus is adventurous and climbs anything--porch posts, swing sets,
and fire hydrants. I call him Atticus the Fearless. I think he has a monkey
gene somewhere in his blood! Atty also loves to organize. He would
rather organize his goldfish crackers than eat them. Dinosaurs, insects,
and stuffed animals know their place when he is around. Sometimes the
rules of organization are known only to him. Atticus is also always wanting to know Jude's whereabouts. I think they are best buds!

Soren is chubby and quite the smiler. When he was an infant he was quite
a serious chap. Grampa had fun playing "Here Comes the Bee" game with
him. Giggles quickly followed when Tracy tickled him under the arm. If you
don't know that game you'll have to have Tracy show you!

Children and grandchildren are truly a wonderful gift from the Lord. Being with Micah, Marie, and the boys deeply impressed Tracy once again with that truth from the Psalms.
