A Grand Detour

Last Sunday our daughter and her husband joined us as Tracy preached at Faith Assembly. Balto was glad for the company as usually he is an only child on these adventures. It was the first time our real children (sorry, Balto) had joined us and it was a joy to have them along. We truly enjoyed Faith's energetic worship style and felt refreshed in spirits.

In their opening comments Pastor Li and Tracy mentioned our churches' friendly rivalry in softball and what a wonderful thing that in the kingdom of God we are on the same team. Go, God! Afterwards Tracy left for Minneapolis where he attended the Logos Camp hosted by Bethlehem Baptist Church. In addition to learning helpful and practical information for future study he shared sweet time with Steve and Liz, former missionaries to Zambia. God also gave him a rich time of fellowship with Eric and Bill, men who will be traveling to Lusaka in February. While there they hope to see how their church can partner with ACTION in Zambia. Hopefully our household will be set up by then and we can host them.
