Container Preparations

What look like gravestones are actually concrete pads for our container to rest upon. Scheduled to be here the middle of this month, we learned just today that the container has been discharged in Dar El Salaam. Prior to that it had been floating on the ocean for several days behind other ships. Why? Well, it appears the dock’s crane (and it may be the only one in port) was broken. The original arrival date was February 7th, but this is the nature of the beast. Please pray that God would move in a powerful way on our behalf and allow it to arrive in the next two weeks. We marvel at His perfect timing. Even though the container is “late” we have had all of our household needs met. Whenever we do need something, our mantra has been, “It’s on the container.” Also, even if the container had arrived, our house would not have been ready. Thankfully, we have found a company with a crane down the street that won’t cost as much as we initially thought. Thank you for your continued prayers on our behalf.
