On The Road Again

After saying "goodbye" to our children in PA we journeyed onto Virginia where we stayed in the home of Andy and Beth. We had met Andy in Zambia earlier this year while he taught at a seminary, but we had not met his lovely wife.

The morning before we left they showed us the sights along the Blue Ridge Parkway where we saw some amazing scenery. Wish we could have spent more time with them!

A short drive away from Andy and
Beth's live my Uncle and Aunt, whom I hadn't seen since my cousin's funeral about thirteen years ago.

Southern hospitality thrives in their home, and Tracy and I felt greatly loved. Aunt Elizabeth is an amazing cook and it was heartwarming to see how she and Uncle Freddie take care of one another. They will celebrate their 60th anniversary this December. I thought 37 years was amazing!
