Grand Day Out In Monroe

This past Sunday was a first for me on home assignment. It was my baptism into giving a children's message during worship. With the help of several hats and props I shared with the attentive bunch about David Livingstone, touching on his roles as explorer, scientist, doctor, and missionary. Although I was very nervous, it was great fun. Now I know the struggle preachers have keeping their messages down to a certain length of time!

Tracy preached his sermon for the eleventh time during our stay. He has loved preaching his message on "What Africans Have Taught Me About The Bible". I think it's probably pretty near perfect by now!

Monroe Bible Church welcomed us warmly and was a great encouragement to us. After the services the missions team hosted a pizza luncheon at which Tracy shared our power point about ACTION Zambia's ministries. We felt so loved~thank you, MBC!

Isn't this team a great-lookin' bunch?
