Hope In Roscoe, IL
Flat Stanley is looking a little "rumpledy" as our son, Neal, would say. But, then, Stanley has traveled about 10,000 miles in the past three and a half months. He's a little worse for the wear!
Yesterday the people of Hope Church warmly welcomed us as Tracy shared "What Africans Taught Me About The Bible". Great encouragement came as we interacted with our brothers and sisters in Christ, including friends from a while back. We had met Ryan in the 90s at Camp Timberlee where he served as grounds manager. Our children will never let us forget the year we worked there for our vacation, a year we were too broke to go on holiday.
Hope's missions team made us feel right at home after the service with a luncheon and informal discussion around the table. Yummy food, wonderful fellowship. The women of the team also presented us with a gift card from Kohls. We felt truly loved. Thank you so much, Hope EFC!
