Tomorrow we leave for the "Show Me" state to say our good-byes to Tracy's family. Tracy and Adam will take turns riding the motorcyle down while I follow in the car. Please pray for traveling mercies for us as well as for our daughter and her husband, who are driving down Friday evening.On Saturday his family is throwing us an "Hasta La Vista" party where there is sure to be lots of food and fun. We were told to bring our bathing suits, too!
Pray that God would give us a precious time together--it will certainly be bittersweet.
Monday night we shared our calling with a church in Monroe, WI, and have been asked to return with Tracy preaching on a Sunday morning. Interestingly, the associate pastor and his wife were supported by our church while they were in the Philippines as houseparents. They also were former members of our church. It was a great time reconnecting with him afterwards over supper. At noon today Tracy also shared with the local Kiwanis Club and was greatly encouraged. Aside from a few technical difficulties, it went quite well.
