We decorated the tree yesterday to the sounds of Bing Crosby's Christmas songs. It took a couple of strands before we found lights that were all working. (Isn't that the fun part?) Adam came up with the idea to lay most of the lights in vertical lines on the tree and it turned out pretty good.
I had kept our Christmas ornaments here for storage rather than
shipping them to Zambia. So, it was fun to have our familiar orn-
shipping them to Zambia. So, it was fun to have our familiar orn-
aments to hang. Hanging them was interesting as I hadn't kept
any ornament hooks. We found another use for twist ties! Adam found the pickle ornament last year~I wonder who will find it this year. For a tree skirt we wrapped our plastic Christmas tablecloth at the base of the spruce. I think it's the best-looking tree skirt we've had for a while~very Christmasy!
May you and yours have a blessed Christmas, remembering our Savior's arrival in this world to be among us. Emmanuel!
