Moving Day(s),Part I

Many hands make light work and that was definitely the case on November 30th and December 1st. Part one of our move involved hauling our household to a shop where it would be readied for shipping the following weekend. Because of a prediction of bad weather for the 1st, we moved the date up at the last minute. Thankfully, God had prepared us for this and we were ready! Friday morning we called in the minutemen and Ken and Barry showed up to move the majority of our goods. You're our heroes! For several weeks we had been praying that God would give us clear and dry weather for moving. And, He did~just a day earlier
than expected!

On the following day, the troops poured in to clear out our attic, move a piano, clean out Tracy's woodshop, and haul books. Over 22 boxes of books had been carefully packaged and labeled by Sandy and David several days beforehand. Afterwards we all feasted on a delicious lunch prepared by Paul and Eunice--yum! By the time bad weather rolled in we had finished almost every task.
A huge "thank you" also goes to Tom, Mark, Chester, Josh, Dave, Scott, Adam, Jerry, Deb, Eric, David, Kathy, Ron, Lee, and Barry. Also, thanks to Daryl for the use of his trailer. Tracy and I are very grateful for everyone who helped make this a smooth moving day.
