3 West Says Goodbye

Last night our friends at 3 West held a going away pizza party. After our second trip to Zambia in 2005 Tracy lived at the apartments for a week. His intention in doing so was to be among the residents and to get to know them. The initial rumor as to why he was living there was because his wife had kicked him out!

That same year our church began serving a meal each month to our new-found friends. Ladies from our church faithfully provided delicious cuisine. Usually the last Thursday of the month, these meals tied people over at a time when food stamps and money
were low. In addition to meeting pressing physical needs, this ministry opened up doors of opportunity to meet spiritual needs.

We will deeply miss our good friends pictured here~friends like Richard, Tom and his girls, Randy, and Orville. Barry has taken over this ministry and we wish God's richest blessing on him as he serves Christ faithfully.

It is true that there are many pressing needs right here in the
states. May our eyes be open to the
many opportunities for service

around us.
