Streams Of Living Waters

Today Tracy spoke at a church-wide conference for the Streams of Living Water Churches. It’s theme, “Be Fruitful and Multiply”, focused on obedience to the Lord and it’s results, taken from Genesis 1:28 and Isaiah 1:19. The seminar Tracy taught was for singles, which means anyone age 16 and upwards who is not married. Speaking on “Hoping In God,” Tracy found the day a little difficult as the scheduled translator didn’t show up and the make-do one wasn’t quite up to par. His favorite part of the day was the interaction after his talk with the young people, mostly late teens. They wanted to know in what way we were challenged in coming to Zambia to minister. They also asked several questions about Tracy’s coming to faith in Christ and how it impacted his family of origin. When Tracy shared that eventually his whole family came to Christ several wanted to know what they should do to help their families come to Christ. But the most humorous question was from a girl to shy to ask the question herself. The young man sitting next to her asked, “What tribe are you from?” Another young man in his teens asked a very thought-provoking question~”In His incarnation was Jesus everywhere present and all knowing?” Now there is a theologian in the making!
