Sign Of The Times

Even though we live in an English-speaking country there are still challenges in communication. The team had this sign made to hang outside the church to welcome the 120+ pastors in attendance. Today was the second day of AZ's pastors conference, "Don't Waste Your Life~God's Call To Faithful Stewardship."

But, there is a story behind the sign that is interesting. See the "2009" patch on the banner? While giving instructions to the banner maker, it was expressed that we wanted the sign written in cursive. Well, that's exactly the word hiding underneath the year, "cursive". Thankfully, it was patched up with little evidence of error. Even though we try very hard to communicate properly, our English can still come out distorted.
