Dishwashing Tales

One night while Mirriam (Mrs. Thole) and I were washing dishes by hand outside, it began to lightly rain. At that she told me she was a twin and her twin would cry as a child when it started to rain. She then told me the story of "The Girl Made of Dirt". Once upon a time there was a girl made of soil. Every day she went out to play. But when it began to rain, her mother sang to her, "Kamudoti, we tabamvula," which means, "Come my daughter, come in from the rain. Come in, or you are going to melt." Well, one day the daughter went too far and didn't not return in time. She melted into a puddle of dirt. I wonder if this is where Frank Baum got his idea for the Wizard of Oz?

So happy for you both, and yet the sense of separation is deeply felt for you and your family.
Excited to see how the Lord will work. I'm thinking that there will be a lot of humbling stories like the one on the minibus, but I'm' sure God knows what He is doing when He needs to humble we
azungus.
God bless you both.
