Tipeza Ngozi Pamsewu

The title of this blog literally means, "We found an accident on the road." While waiting for the stoplight (robot) to turn green this past Monday we were rear ended. Instead of hitting the car in his lane, the driver swerved into our lane at a fast speed and remodeled our tailgate. A passing motorist called the police who then escorted us to the police station. In a room that looked like what used to be a washroom, the policewoman filled out the accident report by hand. After fining the other driver, Joseph, a total of about $23 for "dangerous driving", she sent us across the street to make copies of our insurance information. Interestingly, the Kawbwata Police Club is on the same premises as the police station, advertising a local beer. After waiting for all the paperwork to be finished (three and a half hours later) we drove home, thankful to God that all we had sustained were headaches and sore necks.
