Update On Baby Chikumbutso

Two days ago Mrs. Passmore, Andrea, and I took Chikumbutso to a special clinic for HIV+ children. Mrs. Passmore is the housemother of St. Nicholas Orphanage here in Makeni. Dr. Meade, founder of this clinic, offers free medical care for children enrolled in the program. After an examination we found out the baby is eligible once they receive his paperwork. They prescribed two prescriptions~an antibiotic and medicine for the thrush in his mouth. As we walked down the hall to the exit, Andrea commented how strange it was not to have to pay anything for the visit or medicine. How true!

We praise God that the baby began holding food and medicine down this week. He has also begun wetting his diapers, too! So, we thank you for your prayers. We'll continue to keep you updated on his condition.
