A Day At Ciyanjano, Part I

Yesterday Tracy and I drove out to Ciyanjano (chee-un-jano), our ministry center, to meet the short-term missions team from Vacaville, CA. Because AZ's vision is to develop the acreage for future conferences, camps, and retreats, the team raised money for special
projects.

The current football (soccer) field in
the first picture will be moved further northwest so it can still be used by the community after the property is fenced. This involves
bulldozing and grading the
large antihill and field in the third picture. Tracy met with the contractor and transit operator to explain how AZ wanted it to be done. Several hours were spent walking the property, surveying to acquire the correct readings, and staking the coordinates. Fellow teammate, Luke Whitfield, (pictured in the white t-shirt and shorts) will supervise the bulldozer and grader on Monday and Tuesday. It has been exciting to see how God has used both Luke's and Tracy's background in construction to minister on this project. A big thank-you to Vacaville for making this possible!
