This past Saturday Tracy and I descended into the dungeon, i.e. basement, and prepared for moving. Since I was still in my pajamas he is the one pictured here. Aren't you glad? We sorted piles into three categories--things for the kids, things to store, and things to take. Tracy worked in the woodshop while I labored in the other rooms. It really energized me to have someone else in the same area working alongide me.
I came across papers I hadn't seen in ages--schoolwork of the kids when they were homeschooled. A story written by one of them caught my eye~~"Playing Tag With The Devil". Quite theologically sound! I also found financial records from my days of selling educational books~~proof that I wasn't very good at it. Other papers I shredded or tossed out. Some I kept. When all was said and done, we accomplished quite a bit that day. I even managed to inventory many of the things to be shipped in the container.
A note of praise about the shipping container. We have found someone who will let us use his warehouse, loading dock, and forklift in order to load the container. All free of charge~~praise God! Please continue to pray for us as we take on this God-sized task that we would depend on Him for wisdom and grace.
