Pictured here is our host family, the Tholes. Being with the Tholes has been an unbelievable boost up the ladder of language and culture. Lichawa Thole is the father, pastor (abusa) of Chisomo Baptist Church. His wife, Mirriam, is a stay-at-home mom, but is very involved in the work of the ministry. Their three children, Lusungu, Ndabase, and Maskalela, and two nieces, Betty and Leah, fill their house with laughter and singing. A big thank-you to the Tholes~everyone should be so fortunate to live with them!
