Flown The Coop

The guineas' love relationship with us didn't last long. After remodeling this cage, building a temporary roost, and seeking to help them adjust to their new home, the birds decided that they preferred our neighbors' yard. Why? Guineas are social creatures and after we turned them loose, it didn't take them long before they found out there was a rooster and oodles of hens next door. If we retrieved them, they would just return to our neighbors. So, this way they are happy, we still get to hear them, and we don't have the privilege of caring for them.
