Back In Junior High

Tracy and I drove in to Romeoville to see Adam and present our ministry to the junior high youth group of his church. Adam has been working with these young people since his conversion. The leader of the group, Susan, says that the kids  "clearly love Adam" and that "he brings a lot of life to the group!" I think Adam is a kid at heart anyway.

Although I believe this group would've handled our normal presentation quite well (they were a well behaved group,
very respectful), we decided to play "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire" with them. Dividing them into two teams because Zambians love to work in groups, we asked various questions about Zambia. How would you do with these questions?

1. How many presidents has Zambia had?
2. What part of the chicken is given to the husband?
3. What does "mzungu" mean?
4. What is the staple food of Zambians?
5. What countries border Zambia?

The teams were tied until the last question. Team A won the game with over $1,600,00 in their pocket. Well, not really. But, we made sure they each received a kwacha bill and some
yummy candy.

It was great to meet the group with whom Adam works, as well as his fellow leaders, Susan, Lesley, and Shauna. The young people in this group have a real hunger for God's Word and missions. A real joy to be around.
