Friends, Part Two

We met Armin and Margaret in the fall of 2007 at Leaf River Baptist Church. What impressed us most about them was their loving care for their daughter, Charity, who has had cerebral palsy for 37 years. Charity has a constant attendant who gives her physical therapy and attention throughout the day.

A visit to their home nestled in a quiet spot east of Mt. Morris, revealed their love of God, Charity, history, and nostalgia. Built for their daughter's easy access in 1997, their house stands as a witness to God's goodness and mercy.

A recent visitor to our home by the river was Ken Kielsmeier, a true fisherman. Ken has made fishing for catfish an art, knowing all the best spots and discerning the best ways to attract them. When Neal and Adam were younger Ken took them out on the Rock River to fish its waters.
