Before sharing with Adam's junior high youth group about Zambia, Tracy and I had supper with his fellow teachers, Susan and Leslie, and Adam and his fiancee, Dena Marie.
Culver's not only delighted us with their cashew chicken salad, but also a balloon artist, Suzette. Suzette had set up a table replete with an air compressor and her multitudinous Ziploc bags of balloons. For a small donation her balloon animals, creatures, and critters were available for enjoyment. Watching her twist and create balloon art was fascinating. Adam chose a fish attached to a pole, complete with food in its stomach; Dena Marie, a giraffe; Tracy, an alien, which he used at youth group to depict life as a missionary; and, I chose a jester's hat. Typical, right?
It was great fun and it gave us some great ideas for Zambia. I may be going to balloon school this summer! What do you think?
