As you leave our guest room you'll find our bedroom to the left. A carpenter in the area built the two dressers, which are made of rosewood. You would be amazed that he made these considering the tools he has to work with. The rug is also made by one of Lusaka's craftsmen and is made of sheep's wool~very soft.
If you turn left out of our room you'll face a very necessary room which is separate from the rest of the bath. The wooden covering above the curtains is called a
pelmet. I've placed my lighthouse

figurines from the Outer Banks on it. In a separate room is the bathtub and sink. I've also gone for a seaside/ocean theme here. I recently put up a portion of wallborder which depicts waves rolling in to shore. If I close my eyes and listen to the wind I almost feel like I'm at the beach. Zambia is a land-locked country and I need all the reminders I can get! Before we got the wicker, all of our toiletries, medicines, and towels were in boxes and totes. It's really nice to get everything organized!
This ends the tour~hope this gives you an idea of where and how we're living. The Lord bless you!
